COMDEX 2001 Photo Coverage

Las Vegas Convention Center
November 12 - 16, 2001

COMDEX is the largest computer show in the US. At Las Vegas in November 2001 it changed radically. Most obvious was the extensive security that required bag searches and magnetometer checks of everyone entering. More troubling was that the show continued to downsize. Everything was in just the Las Vegas convention center. If there was a highlight it continues to be the keynotes. Bill Gates led off with his Sunday event and then John Chambers of Cisco and Sony. Another change was the lack of mainstream PC companies. Intel was only inside the Hilton in its own suite and not on the floor. It was not the old COMDEX but was struggling to survive.
